Hardware Checks
The Gamma Carry has 2 LED indicators on the rear of the unit. One is the Thunderbolt™️ LED and the other is the Heartbeat LED.
Thunderbolt™️ LED:
In normal operation this is lit solid green when connected to a powered on computer. A flashing Thunderbolt™️ LED indicates there's a problem. To try and resolve the problem, try another port or swap out the Thunderbolt™️ 3 cable for a known good cable.
Heartbeat LED:
In normal operation this LED should flash.

If the disk is not detected by the Mac...
Check the status of the Accusys driver (named: ACS6x) in the System Information utility (found in /Applications/Utilities/System Information).
1. Open System Information
2. Select the Extensions section from the sidebar (it may take a little while to load)
3. Check the Loaded column, if it shows as No try the following commands in Terminal
sudo /usr/bin/kmutil clear-staging sudo /usr/bin/kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/ACS6x.kext
4. In System Information choose File > Refresh Information and check if the Accusys (ACS6x) driver now shows as Loaded
5. Once the driver is loaded it should now be possible to see the disk in Disk Utility
If after following the instructions above the Mac still fails to detect the disk in Disk Utility, please contact Global Distribution Support.
